I have a very large CD collection that I ripped long ago to my PC. The naming of these files is varied, and some MP3 tag information is missing.
I'd like to standardize the naming of my MP3's like this:
"Artist\Album\Track# - Track name.mp3"
For any missing Artist, Album or Track name info I'd like to see "Unknown". For an unknown track number I'd like it to be 00.
Are there any software packages that can scan my MP3 collection, download any missing MP3 tag info, and rename/organize my MP3s as show above? Can WMP11 do this?
I wouldn't trust WMP to do this, it mis-tagged some of mine.
I use musicbrainz picard from www.musicbrainz.org
