If you want to play mp4 without additional codecs installation - use VLC
player
Otherwise you may consider FFDSHOW DirectShow decoding filter
or whole K-Lite Codec Pack (mega) because with WMP all you will constantly
search for codecs
Both mentioned above should help WMP be a little bit better.
