Sorry, I forgot one lil-thing in addition to what I wrote.
Despite I do not see yet that WPM11 is the one to blame for the problem you
are having
first test would be to play the same media using a different player.
Do you have any? If not - it is very sad :-( but at least in order to
eliminate WMP as a suspect
play it with
C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe
What about that echo?
