I've looked at the urge.db file and it appears to be an SQLite database
that catalogs your library. I would think that it's being used by Urge
to deliver a more personalized service. But it could be used for other
things, but I haven't seen the urgems.exe access the internet and I
would block it if you have a firewall like ZoneAlarm until Urge or a
Microsoft representative responds to this thread. I'm all about
personalizing services, but Urge doesn't need to know all of the music
in my library nor do they need to know what I like. Just make it easy
for me to find the music and videos I want to listen to or watch and
that's all.

yeah i tried deleting urgems.exe and the dll file, but when you reopen WMP it automatically reinstalls the file and starts running it. It slows down my computer way too much, so i end the process in task manager
