Re: Default color balance settings are wrong

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Thos sounds like a bug in your video card driver. You should be able to
tweak WMP's video settings and fix this up...

I installed WMP11 on a new XPPro SP2 install. Don't know if it makes any
difference, but the system is a Compaq SR2050NX Intel D 820, 1GB, with an
NVidia 7900GS-based video card and latest NVidia checked drivers.

The color balance for all video playback is way off now in both WMP and
mplayer2. I can adjust the settings so it looks good, but then the next
video is back to the default "bad" settings. If I use any other player,
such
as Quicktime, Real or even Media Player classic, the color balance is
fine.

Can this be fixed, or should I just make Quicktime or Real my default
player?
