Repost: Move license to another computer?

I posted before, and zachd responded, for which I am grateful. Searching
his very large collection of answers, however, didn't give me anything I saw
that would apply. So I'm posting back in hopes someone can point out what I
missed or give another answer.

When I tried to play some wma files (all from the same CD) on my work
computer (WinXP Pro, WMP 10), I first had to download a license. That being
done, the files play with no problem. I burned these files to a CD to take
them home (Win98SE, WMP 9), but they wouldn't play because I don't have
Internet at home and can't download a license. I went back to my work
computer and backed up the licenses, hoping I could copy them over to my
home computer and make everything happy, but Restore on my home computer
won't work with an Internet connection!

Is there any way around this Internet connection problem with WMP? Or is
there another wma player I might want to consider?

TIA
Ed
