Got DivX 2.6 to download. It has helped a little.

MP 10 needs Windows XP.
Divx no longer supported or downloadable for W 98.

Try the WMP 9 codec package again?


Download WMP10 and the latest DIVX codec and player. They play over 90%
of AVI's. You can play complete AVI's in WMP. If they are not complete
then the DIVX player will usually play them.
