I had the same issue. Someone on this board suggested changing the
harware acceleration on the video settings and that worked like a
charm. On my machine I right clicked on the desktop, chose
properties->settings->advanced->troubleshoot. I set the hardware
acceleration at about half of the maximum. Not sure what other effect
that will have but it worked for this issue.
