I never seem to quite get the knack of having WMP10 organise my music into the correct folders according to the ID3 tags and I've really got no idea what I am doing wrong. e.g. I just renamed a couple of album tags for several of my tracks and WMP has created a folder for the new album name and moved ~ half the tracks to the new folder. But it has left others where they were in the first place. I've forced a "Process Media Information" but short of manual drag and drop I cannot figure out how to make WMP10 finish the job properly.
How can I get WMP10 to finish reorganising and renaming files/folders when I rename things and not just give up part way through?
1) Did you put the new info on =ALL= the tracks (check it on the ones that didn't move)?
2) Afaik library reorganization is a 'background task' type thing, which WMP does 'from time to time, when the PC isn't busy with more important stuff', so your problem might get solved by just waiting a while (maybe a long while if it's a busy PC?!).
Does actually =playing= the tracks cause anything to happen? (Just a wild thought).
