Win MP10 has dozens of problems, none of which have been fixed yet. In
fact MS seem to be avoiding saying anything about it on this NG, or
anywhere else. Normally these MS NGs have at least one MVP (most Valued
professional) expert hanging out, this one seems to be orphaned.
Unless wmp10 has something you really badly need, I'd go back to Wmp9,
which mostly worked (despite being bloated). Else just hold your breath
and wait for WMP10.1 or 10.2b or whatever version actually addresses the
bugs in 10.
