I would like to do something like the following.
1. Create playlists from my Mediaplayer library content (e.g. Dads Music,
Mom's Music)
2. Create another auto playlist Dad's Favourites where the filter criteria
is somethin like rating > 3 and playlist = "Dad's Music" or Dad's Classical
where the filter criteria is somthing like genre="classical" and
playlist="Dad's Music".
This can be easily done in iTunes because a playlist name can be used as
filter criteria. Can't figure out how I could do this in Mediaplayer.

Re: best music to game by ... So in reality I've got 3 copies of the tunes (iPod itself, HD, and backup). ... All those hours of coding in the quips and songs... ... In iTunes, under the "File" menu, there's a back up to disc option that lets you choose to save both the files AND the playlists if you want. ... In the iTunes preferences, there's a "Sharing" tab that lets you share your library on your local network, and that gives you the option to share either your entire library or selected playlists....
