WMP, click on the little down triangle under Now Playing tab, click
Vizualizations, click No Vizualization (that 's what those are called: the
patterns respond to the music).

I do play songs in WMP 10 on my laptop, and sometimes it is not being
charged. In these times I would like to disable the feature inside WMP
that
looks like a screensaver--not the screensaver for the computer itself, but
just that strange show that is seen inside the player itself. I'm
wondering
if this would reduce the energy drain on the laptop much. I looked inside
the
Options window, but I couldn't find any setting to check/uncheck on how to
do
this.
