Try tools/options, performance tab, click advanced, uncheck directX video
acceleration; if that does not work, try changing digital acceleration or
some of the other settings.

I'm trying to play a dvr-ms file, (tv show recorded on a mce 2005 system)
with wmp 11 on an xp system (sp3). I've got the cyberlink power-dvd
decoder
pack installed but it opens and freezes on the first frame, no audio.
Any ideas what I'm missing or doing wrong?
