Re: Cannot play .ts file having codec WVC1

OK well 2 things strike me : 1 is VLC player should be able to play
that, though I haven't checked if it supports WVC1 (VC-1 HD codec)
Also - you may be able to unpack (demux) the transport steram into 2
separate files, audio and video, then re-combine them for example
using DivX or windows media encoders.
You can do that using the XPort program, about 1/2 way down on this
page : http://www.w6rz.net/
The readmen file says you should use (for example A + V streams #1) :
xport E:\Video\TestMovie_1080p_VC1.ts 1 1 1
It strikes me this must have come off some HD-DVD or BluRay in the
first place - is there any reason you're moving this about as a file
instead of using the disk itself - i.e. what's the next step for you,
after testing file based playback ?
HTH

It just play Audio then.
I installed the software you mentioned. It's just for AVI files while this
is ".ts" file which doesn't support it. I've uploaded the screenshot of GSpot
with the file opened with it:
http://rushiextreme.googlepages.com/Screenshot_Gspot.JPG
It opens it but doesn't process anything. Doesn't give any video code(4CC).
Is it WVC1 codec? I searched a lot but couldn't get any playable codec.
I just know it is a Transport Stream file with 1080p, VC-1.Dolby,
TrueHD.DD5.1
Thank you.
There is no video, I can just listen the Audio track!
Please Help!!!!

Sorry, I completely misread your question ;-)
I guess the file's an AVI. Gspot can tell us what specific video codec
would be required for playback http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
Post the video code (4CC) here and I'll take a look around.
Note that I'd advise removing K-LITE as it commonly screwes up your
system playback settings pretty badly - avoid. In general, only
install the specific codecs you need (which in general, are very few)

I have the codec specified (AC3 adudo decoder).
Still thanks!

That sounds like it was copied from a DVD. Typically, DVDs use AC3
audio decoder for surround sound, so you're probably just missing that
decoder - you can get it from http://ac3filter.net/project/1/releases
