I'm having a problem with the "Find Album Info" function in the media player,
however, my problem is that I'm unable to connect to the necessary webpage.
My internet connection is fine, everything in the options that should be
checked is, I can connect to the online stores, and I have tried everything
mentioned in this thread to fix the problem, in addition to other threads
(Firewall, virus protection issues). I recently deleted URGE along with some
other programs, and I'm not sure if this has created the problem. When I
click on "Find Album Info", I get the message "This program cannot display
the webpage" with the address at the top being
'redir.metaservices.microsoft.com'. Any suggestions on fixing this issue?

Typically re-registering WMP.DLL is the solution, however it may be that
your library database file is corrupted. To fix this you need to follow the
directions at the link below. It will tell you what to do to invalidate your
current library and create a new one.

Occasionally this occurs and the resolution is typically to re-register
WMP.DLL. To do this first shut down WMP and then open a CMD window (Click
Start -> Run, type in CMD and press enter).

In the CMD window, type in the following command:

%windir%\system32\regsvr32.exe %windir%\system32\wmp.dll

Then press enter. You'll get a "succeeded" dialog, click the OK button.
Now launch WMP and try again, does Find Album Info work for you?
