I posted a message a few days ago and received replies, for which, many
thanks. I am returning to ask about advice I have received from HP
Troubleshooters. If you are there Neil, you may remember that I couldn't play
videos in web pages, and that the multimedia bar had changed some 3/4 years
ago in my version of IE. I have now been advised that as my IE7 does not have
the box Play Videos in Web Pages, they suggest uninstalling IE7, then
installing IE6. I have tried everything else HP suggested, so perhaps I
should give this a go. Will this give me the option box to tick in
multimedia? All advice on this would be helpful, as I have been on a mission
to find an answer. Motto: Never give Up. Shar.
I remember chatting about it. But now I come to think if it :
Is your specific problem that *no* videos play in web pages ?
Or just that you want the left hand bar with media player ?
For example, on the news.bbc.co.uk website, can you actually play the
news videos in their popup player (after selecting media player) ?
