No, freely available to the public. Although I must admit that I
think I incorrectly used the term "streaming". After looking at the
object declaration in the web page it is opening the file from the
server (i.e. www.someaddress.com\files\aVideo.wma). If I start WMP
and use File->Open URL with the same address that the embedded object
is supposed to open the file will play fine.

I don't suppose there is any chance that the WMP plugin IE is using is
a seperate instance from WMP running from the start menu. That might
explain the different behavior.
