I don't know. You initially said they're MP3 files but then you said they're rax files. My program only works with ID3 tags which are almost always on MP3 files. You should probably contact RealPlayer. Good luck with that, though. I don't think much of them.

I downloaded your ID3 tag backup program and did the browse for my music
folder, then selected subfolder and "remove tag from MP3 file" and then I
"pressed" the BACKUP button and it looked like it "sank in" but then nothing

Move them to a folder unknown to your media library by cut and paste so your
media library will lose track of them.

Now you need to remove the ID3 tags, or at least all frames that could be
used by WMP to identify the tracks as coming from RealPlayer - probably all
the PRIV frames and the COMM frames - from the ID3 tags. You can use my ID3
Tag Backup program to remove the tags altogether:

If WMP still recognizes them as coming from RealPlayer, it is because the
file names are still stored in the WMP library database. You could either
rename all of the files or you could rebuild the library database.
