I think you can save the announcement files locally and then copy them to the
streaming server. But this not mute - most advice I am now receiving is that
the ISPs routinely block multicast broadcasts. So unless I am using an
internal (intranet) environment, I should just use unicast.

We will be doing live video capture with an Osprey 230 card. I assume the
streaming server must be the enterprise version to make the multicast
broadcast. I don't understand why Microsoft documentation states that the
DCOM is required. This is so unnecessarily confusing.

Second, we are use a 2 server setup (capture server, and streamer on
separate location). In the push confirguration, which server needs to be
Enterprise Version.

Don't think either of them need to be, but someone can correct me if I'm
wrong.
BTW, what is your source (sounds like WME)?

Some of the documentation mentions DCOM - what is that and is it required?
