Not amused.. New PC with Media Center 2002

Has anyone seen this..
Buying a new PC only to have Media Center 2002 installed and all its
problems...

Found this out two months after i had the machine..
Thought it was just a driver issue...

Thing tends to lock up constantly
Called HP and they are like. Well it sucks to be you...
You can always buy *another * Media Center PC and it will have 2005 on it..

Is there any way to upgrade this to 2005.. I have an Xbox 360 and this thing
is unstable as hell running MC, works fine in windows...
