you will find the options are limited. In fact, this is the very rational
behind why people say Macs are easier to use and are more reliable. They are
easier to use because you can't really do anything with them. They are more
reliable because there's no option to put them to task. For example, a Car
with no wheels is more reliable and easier to use, because you can't actually
do anything with it. It's safer too.
I'm really struggling to work out if you're mental, or if you're a
troll. Have you ever used a Mac ? I mean *really* used OSX ?
What you've said above (and below) is pure unadulterated nonsense. If
you'd spent any time at all working on OSX, you'd know it runs a
complete and unabridged copy of BSD Unix below it's apparently
friendly exterior.
I could show you some scripted tasks using eg automator that leverage
both the extremely powerful command line and merges that with high
level UI based application scripting, in a way which would make your
windows-coddled metaverse shrink in fear.
I have looked at Vista and I do like it. It is prettier, and on the surface,
there are less options to make it more Mac-like, however, you do have all the
options beneath the surface, if you know what it is you want to do.
Functionality has not been removed from Windows Vista, it's just been tucked
away a little. Unlike the Mac, where the functionality is not there in the
first place.
I've decided. You're a troll :-P
