I'm not sure why that's happening for you - the IE people might know about
why it keeps trying to navigate or at least is producing that sound. =\

Yes now that you mention it. It is the sound of the Forward/Back green
arrow
buttons. I never made that association before (since I keep the sound off
most times)! Turning off the sounds associated with IE in the Sounds
Control
Panel stops "the sound" . YEESSS! Still, is there something wrong with
my
IE? Is there a patch or update I should download? I do keep up to date
with
all MS updates so I believe I am up to date in all respects. Thanks in
advance.

My XP box with a low end Sound Blaster sound card keeps emitting a
sound
from
the speakers that is, I'm guessing, supposed to be a simulation of a
mouse
clicking on a check box or radio button or perhaps a clock "tick". It
occurs
every 30 (plus a fraction) seconds. I think the sound may have
originated
from a Quicktime training video that I watched a few times. I can
control
the volume of the click (along with everything else) using the volume
control
in the system tray or the Wave control at Start|Control Panel|Sounds
and
Audio Devices|Audio tab|Sound Playback|Volume.
Occurs constantly (inlcuding during videos). Any help or
recommendations
on
posting to a different groups very much appreciated!
