No, really, read what the dude said, he's right. You cannot diagnose
this by randomly adding hundreds of drivers. Take the lid off. Look
for manufacturer name (such as "Creative" or "Ensoniq" or .....) on
the board which has the audio connectors on them.

Pull it out if necessary, and examine it. If no manufacturers name,
look for a "FCC ID number" on it (that will be there) as you can
identify the manufacturer from the FCC code, at the FCC website.

Then go to the manufacturers website and find the matching device, and
download *those* drivers.

Please do not post back again until you have completed this procedure
and know for sure what device you are working with.
