Running WMP10 on XP with SP2 on a custom spec computer. Updated to WMP10 from
WMP9 using Microsoft website, has worked fine for 6-8months. Then installed
SP2 from the Microsoft website, which disabled access to the Library through
WMP, can still access the files manually (this also caused several errors
with other programs as well as WMP10), so I uninstalled SP2. This did NOT
solve the problem. This last week I mp3 files have also refused to play, due
to 'error downloading codec'. I got hold of a SP2 disc, so installed it, but
this has not altered either problems.

Any ideas?
