how 2 burn a cd?

I have tried and tried to burn a cd but Whenever I press "copy" it says a
required .DDL file, SNMPAPL.DLL was not found. I don't quite get what thye
mean buy that but could somebody exlain to me how to burn a cd properly. Oh
yah I have windows media player nine and I have Windows ME.Thanks.
