Neil: Why would you do that in response to a freeze of the PC ?
Because, there was a radio program that I wanted to hear and I tried
everything I could think of to get it to work.

Beware, your system will freeze, because other's have also made the same

More information:
RealOne and WinAmp streaming both work.
I booted off a different hard drive, and the system froze using WMP.
I booted off another drive that didn't have WMP on it, downloaded and
installed WMP, and the system froze.
I unplugged my cable modem in hopes it would reset any settings. System Froze.
I used Windows Media Player several times a week prior to this problem, so I
can only connect it to clicking on that forum.
