No one has seem to have noticed this issue before.


Then it must only be you that must have this "bug", which is why
nobody else noticed it in 4 years of WS2003 operation.

I can happily stream from any media server on the internet, using only
the IP address (that is, without requiring any reverse name lookup
from the DNS A record)

What's a typical URL that you're having trouble with ?
