WMV media format wrong?

Hi all you specialist out there....

I have installed WMS on our intranet server. OUt of the box, the demo
wmv files play fine. If I go to the WMS control panel, browse to the
<default> publishing point, I can test al default installed wmv files.
If I add my own wmv file to that directory, and try to test it, the
mini mediaplayer window comes up and I'm getting following error:

"Windows media player cannot play the file because the server is not
available (for exmaple, the server is busy or not online)"

If I doubleclick my wmv file in explorer, mediaplayer plays the file
just fine.

What am I doing wrong here???

Tim
