There is limited support for load balancing in WMS (if you're talking about
setting up a cluster, at least.) Using looped server-side playlists that
contain more than one source (server1 and server2) works to some degree. It
will failover to the second server (or encoder) if the first goes offline, but
there may be a brief interruption in the stream. I believe WMS online help
explains how to do this.

Hi all,
I have two servers dedicated exclusively to streaming. I'd like to be able
to load balance them, so that I could increased capacity and provide fault
tolerance.
Is it possible to implement such a solution for live streaming? Can anyone
please point me to somewhere where I can find more about this?
The servers are running Windows Server 2003 Standard.
Thanks in advance.
