loop a playlist as wmencoder does

Hi,
I'm currently using a "playlist" (in fact it is a wme session with
some wmv in loop) with windows media encoder pushing the encoded
stream to a windows media server, and serving it as a live stream.
This is the one and only configuration that I've been able to set up
to make the published stream appears like a "pure" live stream (i.e.
captured from a webcam, with unlimited length): is there a simpler
(and less cpu consuming) way to do that?
The problem is that with a simple .wsx windows media server playlist
and a broadcast publishing point serving it, the client can
distinguish when each single video file ends, i.e. there is something
like a frame counter that windows media server re-set to zero when
each video starts..
ps. all the wmv videos are encoded at the same bitrate and using the
same encoder profile..
Thanks,
soc
