Video unexpectedly stops streaming, can anyone help?

Hello to the group!
Here's my problem: we've setup a media services server, and it was working very well until a few days ago. Now when a user plays certain videos, they start and play for a second, but then abruptly stop. Client receives no error, it seems as if the video has finished normally. But our Windows Media Services troubleshooting panel lists the following error (which is reported as a Warning):
Error code: 0xC00D002F
The publishing point 'video' is unable to stream from 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\video\testvideo.wmv', referenced in 'file://C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\video\temp\test.wsx'.
I tried doing a search on error "0xC00D002F", but only found it in reference to media player client. In that context it means "Invalid or corrupt data was encountered.". But as I said, client receives no error, and the same test.wmv video plays locally (from my hard disk) without errors. So the question remains, could this error mean the same thing in media services, and could this particular file be making problems for our server, but not when being played locally?
Thanks,
Nick Moses
