hum, you mean : 1°) real stream better than WMS or 2°) helix stream wm(a/v) files better than WMS ?
if I can imagine that somebody can prefer the streaming helix instead of Windows media server
1) Last I checked real video is just ag good as wmv. Wery little difference. The problem about real it their crappy player (or at least was).

I have more difficulties to think has somebody can think that Helix stream better the wmv than Windows media server
I requested a 30 day trial of helix, to test windows media streaming, and I think it performs much better than windows medis services. The quality of the streams is natually the same, whether its streamed from helix or wms

Last I checked, Real/Helix cannot stream Windows Media. Real Media codecs are nearly as good as Windows Media but it's a completely different technology requiring a different player (RealPlayer), encoder, and server.
The open source version of helix can't stream windows media. If you buy a license, which includes support for windows media, it can stream windows media (among something like 50 other formats).
