http port conflict

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I want to use the http protocol to access windows media server. I have
a spare IP address on the server and have configured WMS to use port
80 on that IP address. The server has 4 other ip addresses which are
running IIS on port 80, but nothing else should be running on this IP.

However when I try to enable the HTTP server control protocol in the
WMS management console I get an error message:

"Error Description: One usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port) is permitted. Verify that other services (such as IIS)
or applications are not attempting to use the same port and then try
to enable the plug-in again.
Error Code: 0xc00d158b"

Can anyone suggest a solution or how to trouble shoot this?
Thanks
Leslie
