Well it looks like I will not get any help from this forum, so here is my 2
cents...

I have tried and tried to get the music system to talk to WMS9 and have no
luck... so i did some snooping on the web and found, SHOUTcast by
NullSoft.
This is an AUDIO Streaming server software, runs on Windows "ALL"
platforms except 3.11 (go figure) and *inx and best of all it's FREE along
with the accessories that are needed.

Well I downloaded all the software and installed it on my PC...
1) SHOUTcast server
2) WINamp Media player 5
3) SHOUTcast plug-in for WINamp

I printed out all the Documentation (server 10 pages, Plug-in 8 pages) and
I was surprised that 1/2 of it was version history... WHEW!

Modified the INI file for the server, locked down my network so I would
not "stream" outside my little intranet (Don't want to pay the fees/fines
for copyrighted material)

Started the server...
stated WINamp...
started the plug-in...
..
..
OH MAN!!! what the f!... it's not working, Nothing is easy is it!

Really read the directions...
OH YEAH, forgot the password in the plug-in...
set that up then restarted everything again...
..
..
OK everything seems like it is working...
Started the ol` laptop and pointed it to my server...
..
Buffering...
Buffering...
then "MUSIC" YEAH!!!
Now to get it to my WML11B...
Hmmmmmm...
Logged into the web interface and tried a few different "Favorites"
entries and found that...
http://server_ip_address:port worked the best

all in all it took me 45 minutes start to finish to get music from my PC
to my wml11b music system WITHOUT the use of MusicMatch!!

it seems more stable, Plays more than 10 songs, and is just a better way
to get content to my wireless device!

I think it took me a little longer to do this since I am a ID-10T and
didn't "really" read the directions that came with the software.

I give NullSoft's SHOUTcast a 9 out of 10 in all categories...

Thank you NullSoft

Now if anyone can figure out how to do this with WMS9… that would be
great!!
Maybe Microsoft needs to read this and look into it and figure it out how
to add this to their software… I just hate to have several versions of
different software running on the same BOX!!
