I forgot to mention that if I open the same file using the Open() method everything works fine. Also I saw some other posts on this newsgroup http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/Media/microsoft.public.windowsmedia.sdk/2005-11/msg00151.html, but without any resolution. Maybe it's a bug in the Windows Media Format SKD, anyone could confirm this ?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm using IWMReader to read an ASF file using IStream implementation. The
ASF file is saved from a streaming server and is playable with Windows Media
Player, but when I'm trying to open it with IWMReader I'm getting E_HANDLE
error after calling the Start() method. I've tried also to change header
values (file length, duration, sample count), but I'm getting the same error.
Is there any way to avoid this error ?
Thank you
.
