This appears to answer all of my questions about the file types, but do you
know if the Media Services SDK has anything about available web services for
WMS? I'd like to pass a publishing point and retrieve all of the available
content.

I am a total noob to WMS, my MVP is for SharePoint.

Doing that returns 108 results, none appear to be the right approach.

I am interested in reading and writing the WM file properties and producing
thumbnails and ANYTHING on the API for Windows Media Server.

Hi Matthew,

All the SDK's have been combined as of the Windows SDK Vista release. If
you download the complete Vista SDK you will have the current (v11) version
of the Windows Media SDK included. You can download the SDK separately if
you wish here:
