Yes. The ADSTech website describes it as a "simple video viewer program to
ensure your PYRO card is functioning properly" -- this is at the following
web site:
http://www.adstech.com/support/downloads/downloads.asp?product_id=API-601
The program lets you view what a TV-tuner card displays -- cable TV for
example. I want to capture the GUI output from this program -- i.e. the TV
video from a TV tuner card that is displayed by WMCap.exe. Yet, not capture
it as a video, but just as a picture at some instant in time -- like a screen
shot. I already have a java program to do a graphic analysis on a Buffered
Image, so all I need to do now is just somehow get a shot of the output from
WMCap and convert it to a Buffered Image. It seems there should be some dll
function that can be called, but there are no dll files, only that exe one.
If I had the source of WMCap, then I should be able to figure something out.
The reason I am asking you Microsoft guys, is that WMCap is microsoft
copyright, so I figured you'd be the people to ask.
