Hello,
Does sombody knows if its possible to use network url as a source in wme9
?(instead of file or device)
The network url is generated by another wme9 with "pull" option.
No, the only network source I can think of used with WME is a network
RTSP driver provided for Axis network cameras (WME outputs using HTTP
so that wouldn't work here)
Distribution servers are intended for this role, so you should be
using windows media services on windows server 2003 or 2008 for this
task.
It's vaguely possible you might be able to get a workaround using
VideoLAN player to receive the data, and some sort of hackery to make
it appear as a hardware camera, but I can't think of a specific tested
way to do that right now.
