Pulling & Publishing a stream

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm really new at this so please bear
with me. I have a device that is generating a stream with a mms IP address
such as
mms://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80. I want our streaming server running Windows MEdia
Services to grab this stream and rebroadcast it. Does any one know how to do
this STEP BY STEP? I'm a video guy and our IT dept. doesn't know squat about
streaming. Plus I looked at all the info I can find on the microsoft site and
can't find anything about this particular application. I'd go directly from
the device that is doing the encoding but it can only handle 5 to 7 hits.
