EnumDevices2 not finding firewire device on some systems
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
What can interfere with IWMDeviceManager2::EnumDevices2's ability to find
devices that are connected via firewire on some systems. The device (a 3rd
generation iPod) shows up in Windows as a drive and an IWMDMEnumDevice is
created successfully but it doesn't see the device. One particular user is
running Vista and he has tried it 'As Administer' to no avail.
