Synchronizing Media Player on 2 Computers

Hello alll,
I'm new to development of MediaPlayer based applications, so this
question may have already been addressed (but I cannot seem to find it
by googling for it).
My task is to synchronize two instances of media player running on two
different computers. I have a situation where someone will be running
video that may span multiple monitors; we have each computer running
two monitors, but in the event we want the video to play across - say -
six monitors we would need video to synchronize "nearly-perfect" across
the many screens being powered by the many/2 computers.
Is there such a capability in Media Player? Would I need to drop down
to DirectShow to get this capability? Am I missing something? I believe
I have found some links on the 'net that address synchronizing multiple
instances on the same machine, but nothing so far across N number of
machines.
Thanks in advance,
Ben
.
