The project will be for resale.
I realize I called my project a videoconference project (sorry for the
confusion), but it will not be near that complex. Strictly speaking, I need
to take a video source compress it and send it across a local area network.
There maybe some complexities to arise, but should be very simple compared to
a true videoconference software package.
I need to develop an understanding of the different codecs available and
define the best codec to use. Which lead me to try to use Windows Media Audio
and Video Codec. I’m new to COM programming and new to codecs. If there is
some advise, site or book you could direct me too it would be very helpful.
Also, if possible I would like to get some opinions to which codec I should
use.
