Hi Bryan,

Before attempting to troubleshoot the problem as an issue with your code,
you will want to rule out your machine as the cause of the problem. You
can do this by reproducing this issue on another machine or by switching
back and forth from a digital source to an analogue source.

If the issue is related to impedance, try navigating to Start -> Settings
-> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices Properties -> Voice -> Voice
Recording -> Volume and turning down the source device volume.
