Hi Peter,
Are you running windows XP Home or Windows XP Pro? With XP Pro and Home you
should be the local administrator of the PC. In Windows XP Home, you are
either a Limited User, Guest or an Administrator. In Windows XP Pro you can
have a number of permissions, normally the first user installed onto the PC
is the administrator. When you installed your operating system, the
installation would have asked you for a password to your Administrator
account. If you left this blank, simply login with username:Administrator
password:*BLANK*.
If you are running Windows XP Home, the login screen doesn't give you an
opportunity to login with a different account, so you will need to change the
way you login in your account setting (In Control Panel) to be able to login
with a different account.
Let me know how you go.
Regards,
Stefano

The installation stops at about 75%. There is info for a fix that requires me.
to login as administrator. I've been running this machine for 5 years and
never login as anything. How do I login as administrator?
