Neil,
It doesn't mention mine, which is:
NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32M/64M
Can I assume it's supported anyhow?

Should be this one dated 13 May 2008 :

I found this card info:
NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32M/64M
Then, googling that, I found places to download that free, but I'm not
sure
where to look for the "most recent driver software". Then I found this
site; not sure if I should do the Toshiba 'offers' on the right hand side
of
the page ? ?

When I use just my laptop, I get both video and audio in Windows Media

Any
suggestions? I have WinXP, Windows Media Player v. 11. A Toshiba
laptop
that is past the 3 year warranty, or else I'd just ask Toshiba tech
support.
They would say that, of course ;-)
I have the same model docking station in two different houses (carry the
laptop back and forth) and it is the same situation with both docking
stations (i.e. no video).
Are the video (graphics) card driver software up to date on the
Laptop, even when it's installed in the docking station ?
It's usually worth writing down the make/model of the graphics card
shown in Control Panel - or going to Start -> Run, type
dxdiag.exe
press <enter> and run the tests - you can get the make and model of
the graphics card from there too.
Then head to that manufacturers website (rather than Toshiba it'd be
one of ATI/AMD, Nvidia or Intel usually) and find the most recent
graphics card driver software from there.
When docked, the behaviour could be significantly different - it may
even appear to the PC there are 2 monitors and it's selecting the
secondary monitor.
Most graphics cards have acceleration features called 'Overlay' which
only work on the Primary monitor. In that case, going to WMP More
Options -> Performance -> Advanced, and unticking Overlay /
Acceleration *may* help, at the cost of hugely reduced playback
performance.
