By movie, do you mean DVD movie ?
That pixellated effect is most commonly due to expired trial software
for DVD playback (actually, the DVD decoder itself)
You may have a copy of Elecards DVD decoder plugin, which is a
commercial paid-for plugin for DVD playback. An option would be to
uninstall that and use a different decoder such as NVidia's decoder
trial version (30 days) http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder.html
before deciding which you prefer, and purchasing it.
It's worth a check with DecCheck to see if you don't already have a
compatible DVD decoder installed, but in pretty much any case you'd
have to purchase a decoder as one is not included in Windows.
