Thanks for trying to help but have already tried this. Have even managed to
copy onto cd's which are now wasted as I don't need copies as we have already
purchased the original. Each time I try to send or sync to MP3 player I get a
message saying that the copy rights must be removed yet it has allowed me to
copy to CD, it just doesn't make sense.

I have been trying to copy my daughters CD to her MP3 but keep getting the
message remove right protection or use another CD. I cannot understand why
this is happening as I have always done this when she has purchased a new CD
and it has even been produced by the same pop group. I use a switch convertor
for changing into MP3 format. Have done this many times before so what has
gone wrong?
I'm not sure what a switch covertor is, so can't help with that.
Did you consider trying the regular route in WMP, which is to insert
the CD, go to the Rip tab, and rrip the CD to your music library...
Then go to the Sync tab, connect the MP3 player, find the newly added
tracks in the library then use the WMP Sync feature to copy the tracks
to the player ?
