Hi - Is there a way to adjust the time frame for the Recently Added List in
Windows Media Player? I would like it to show just the songs added in this
particular session and not the past few session. Thanks.
Nothing obvious without a lot of hackery.
Perhaps an Auto Playlist would be better ?
Right-click the playlists icon in the left hand panel of the library
view, and choose "Create auto playlist"
Make a playlist which selects files added in the last few days :
Music In My Library -> Add Criteria :
Date added to library, Is After, Yesterday
You could alternatively use Date Encoded (= date ripped, which *may*
not be the same as when it was added to the library if you copied an
MP3 from another PC), or Date Last Played, for example.
OK out of that, and the list you see should correspond to the expected
items (e.g. stuff added to the library in the last 1 day)
You might be able to refine that further by adding more criteria in
the first section (to limit the results) e.g. by setting Play Count
Equals Zero, if you know you never played the file yet.
You can add more criteria to limit the total number of items, and sort
by a particular value.
