Hi,
I have following configuration for my notebook
OS-WIndows XP professional ver 5.1, Service pack-2
Windows Media player 11
When i try to playback an audio file (.mp3) i get the following message
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file".
On clicking the web page button, i get the error code detail as below
Error code-C00D1199
I strongly suspect that it is the codec problem. But how do i find what codec
is used in my notebook and what codec is need to be installed to run this file
Interestingly my other set of Audio files play without any problem in the
same notebook.
When i try to play the problem file in my other notebook Which has Windows
Vista home premium edition OS, i get a different error which says "Computer
is low on memory. Please close all application and try".But absolutely no
other applications were running, but this time i got a different error code
C00D11c6
pls help

thanks
raghu
