Can CDs from an audio book be put on a single DVD and played?
If the audio book contains only audio information, and not any video
information, it is fairly simple to do with the right program. The pro
version of Easy CD-DA Extractor is what I use to rip the audio CDs to
the HD and burn several of them to a blank DVD. You can put about 6
typical CDs on one DVD if you rip in the standard PCM wave format and
record in this PCM wave format to the DVD. If you rip as mp3, or
convert files already ripped as PCM on the HD, you can put perhaps
over 50 CDs worth of mp3 compressed audio good enough for speech on a
single DVD.
